Fed up with consultancies selling you a “silver bullet” methodology?
Are you faced with using an approach that some stakeholders don’t get, or simply don’t like the language or concept?
You ran a workshop previously using a format that just didn’t work for you and need a change of approach?
Our Target Operating Model (TOM) training course take a different approach; we present many different routes to the destination.
We help you critically evaluate a selection of methods, models and techniques and decide what is best for your organisation.
What models will work for you in your culture, in your business language and understanding – one size just DOESN’T fit all.
From strategy tools through capability modelling, to strategy mapping, value chain analysis and many others we explore multiple ways for visualising your future in creating a Target Operating Model (TOM).
In our training programme, facilitated by David Winders and Barry Eustance, we show you how to metaphorically:
“Find the corners, find the edges sort out the colours, connections and interrelationships bringing the mass of a 1000-pieces together in a clear final image”.
David Winders specialises in training, consulting, and mentoring in the creation and understanding of Operating Models and Business Architecture, training in business design, and improving business architecture capability in business change teams.
He also provides training in business design and business architecture and has delivered in this space for two decades.
He has also been a contributor to core references on business architecture.
David’s previous clients include AXA Life, AXA Insurance, DVLA, Friends Life, Skandia, Bank of Ireland Finance, Iveco Finance, LV, National Australia Bank Europe, Business Analyst Solutions, Barclaycard, Royal Bank of Canada, MTN Nigeria, YBS, TFL, Publicis Sapient, ITSM and Serco and major UK government organisations.
So, if you need to communicate a strategy clearly and need to get your people pulling in one direction, you need a TOM.
We’ll be running our three-day, residential TOM course from Q4 of 2024 at the outstanding training facility at New Place Country House & Hotel in Hampshire (previously an IBM training centre).
